Bertie Mathebula

My name is Bertie Mathebula. I am a 35-year-old gentleman born in Boikhutso Trust, located in the town of Bushbuckridge. I am a single father blessed with a beautiful 3-year-old daughter. I also support and live with my nephews—two young women aged 23 and 25, and a young man aged 17.

In my free time, I use my skills and knowledge about food to help community members during events, especially weddings and parties. I am an active member of the Assemblies of God church in my village.

I joined Sandla Lesincedako because I am passionate about uplifting the standard of living for young people who are eager to learn, grow, and develop themselves. I especially want to support young people who wish to study at TVET colleges so they can gain practical skills and knowledge that will open doors in their future.

My passion is to help all South Africans—black and white—succeed and grow professionally, using their skills and knowledge to build better lives. I also dream of empowering young people to become their own bosses so that the economy of our country can grow stronger.
